- How do I get help in Globalyceum?
- Email to: support@globalyceum.com for any and all problems. You will be asked to fill out a help request and we will contact you within 24 hours. You can cc your professor, but your first and main request should go to the Support Desk. These are members of the Globalyceum Team who are experienced with handling student technical issues. Your professor is not experienced in handling these technical problems.
- What are my payment options?
- You have three payment options—Paypal, debit/credit card, and check/money order. If you select check/money order, you will be given 7 days to send a check to our company address, which our Support Desk will email you. Your service will be turned off after 7 days, if we do not receive the check. Contact the Support Desk with inquiries about check/money order.
- What is grace period?
- If you are a financial aid student, we understand that the federal and state governments sometimes do not distribute your aid at the start of the college year. We allow a grace period from first day of class or first day of student registration whichever is earlier to access globalyceum service before you have to pay. On your account you will see the due date, which is usually sufficient time for you to receive your funds. Make sure to click the Pay button within the grace period and pay with one of two payment methods. Contact the Support Desk if you have any questions. 3-days grace period for summer and winter terms.14-days grace period for fall and spring term.
- Why do I have to update my browser?
- Globalyceum has a lot of video materials. In addition, online testing auto saves your answers. If you use an obsolete browser or older version of a browser, it may not have enough functionality to give you access to these Globalyceum functions. It only takes a minute to update your browser on the Sign In page in Globalyceum.
- What if I have difficulty during a test?
- Send an email to: support@globalyceum.com during the test. You can cc your professor, but support should be your main email contact. We will inform your professor that you sought help during the test, which will become part of your professor’s decision whether to allow you to retake the exam.
- How do I get more information about certain activities in Globalyceum?
- In the right side of the gold control panel band, you will see Learning. There are a series of videos that will help you with activities on the site.
- Can I use Globalyceum with my smart phone, tablet, or other mobile devices?
- Yes. Globalyceum does not have an app yet. However, we have responsive design. The minute you access the site with your mobile device, our system will detect this and convert to mobile accessibility. Please remember that access is only as good as the Wi-Fi capability you are using. We recommend that you take tests on a desktop or laptop computer or on your mobile device in a very reliable Wi-Fi environment, like your home but not a coffee shop.
